Blue Hill Concert Association Featuring Visual Arts
From very early on, the Blue Hill Concert Association invited local artists, to display their work at the Jonathan Fisher Hall. During intermission, concert goers have the opportunity, to gather downstairs at the Church, enjoy the art work, and meet the artist.
"We feel strongly that the performing arts and the visual arts complement each other. To have a meeting place where they both can be enjoyed at the same time is ideal", says Trustee Verena Stoll.
During the first years, the art work above, designed by local artist and founding member of Blue Hill Concert Association Dorothy Hayes, has been on the cover of every program. When looking closer, you will notice that the artist has composed the image of Blue Hill mountain by writing dozens of musical terms.
